They replied within 2 hours explaining some of their services and said they will have a proposal to me soon for my consideration Within another couple of hours a Gentleman named Andrew Salzman contacted me by email to let me know that he was an associate in Dezan Shira's Boston office and he requested a call from me. I thought "pretty cool". He called later the same day and we talked for about 15 minutes, He spent some time understanding my business and wanted to make sure that the company was a good fit for a Representative Office, However he was also feeling me out for how big my pockets were, An off-putting feeling that generally leaves a bad taste in my mouth about attorneys. Anyway, his final evaluation was that an RO was a good fit and so he sent that information back to the Vietnam office.
Within a day I had a proposal from Dezan Shira with the longest most detailed list of services and fees of any other provider. WIth 10 pages of Professional Services and 4 pages of proposed fees, The services it turned out were only a little bit more overpriced compared to other groups, but it is clear these people know what they are doing, the issue is that with the method of itemizing, I can tell I will keep finding new services and they will charge for each of them. (other services have all inclusive prices which are easier to budget for)
For Setting up the RO it appears they charge about 3500$ it appears they are about 75% above other all inclusive services which seem to offer more
However in the course of 3 or four email exchanges, I found that this group is the one that provides the Vietnam Briefing webpage, which was a great resource for information on the Business Setup requirements in Vietnam
